Yes!! Your favorite blogger has been voted onto this year’s Board of Trustees,  for the Florida Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.

It is my hope that along with our new chapter president, Marc Gillman, we can continue to do the great work that CCFA has started and even more!!

Having said that…..the CCFA’s  Book of Hope Luncheon is coming up….March 17th…and if you have never been to this event, trust me you are missing out!  It is not your typical stuffy lunch.  As a patient, you are in a room full of people who KNOW EXACTLY what you are going through because they know the disease.  It is enlightening and encouraging for  patients, caregivers and friends.  The guest speaker, every year, is dynamic, and of course,  an honored guest is always featured.  Generally, someone who either has Crohn’s/Colitis or is doing big things to help support or raise awareness for the foundation.   Hmmm…..I wonder who this year’s honored guest could be???
