December 1 – 7 is IBD Awareness Week (#IBDAwarenessWeek for all you tweeters).  So what does that mean?  Well, for patient’s it can be as simple as sharing a photo of yourself…good or bad…and expressing how IBD affects your life.  If you are expressive, draw it, write a poem, the point is to reach the multitude of people who have never heard of Crohn’s nor Colitis and open their eyes!  Caregivers, you know how hard it is to watch someone you love fight IBD everyday.  Share this! Tell a friend.    You could  reach someone who is looking for support!

Does it make sense that millions of people suffer from IBD yet it is widely unknown when spoken about?  Obviously, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

Make  a statement.
